Brian + Francesca Engagement
Last weekend, I headed over to one of my alma mater's for an engagement session with Brian and Francesca. I absolutely ADORE this sweet couple and am so looking forward to their wedding in September. Brian and Francesca met at the University of Illinois, so it held a special place for them in their hearts. You could tell that so many memories were made for them there as they walked the Quad and reminisced about their undergraduate days. When we first arrived on campus, I was startled to see the amount of people! We had somehow managed to pick the first beautiful day of the year and U of I's Mom's Weekend to photograph their engagement session. Despite the crowds, we were able to get creative and find perfect like hidden nooks around the Quad area.
What I loved most about working with Brian and Francesca, is the genuine love and compassion that they have for one another. I took SO many amazing candid photos of them just interacting. They were so natural and absolutely stunning to photograph. My favorite part of the session? We snuck over to Meadowbrook Park in Urbana, IL for some golden hour shots. And OH. MY. GOODNESS. They looked incredible and Francesca's dress was absolutely breathtaking. It's moments like these which I cherish being a photographer and love documenting other people's love.
